NEXT SESSION: 25 MAY 2021
Rightfuelling your Fleet across Europe

Even more than last year the question you need to answer in 2021 is about ICE or EV. Of course, the answer will depend on the driver profile, on the taxation scheme of the countries your drivers live in, on their commute patterns and how and where they live, but CO2 emission reduction needs to be on your To Do list. And alternative powertrained vehicles can support you getting there. Reducing CO2 emissions is not only beneficial for the climate, it also supports fuel efficiency, hence your fleet’s TCO.

In this session you will learn how to transition to a greener fleet in Europe with attention for a coherent vehicle energy programme and by selecting the best possible and most cost efficient vehicles. Indeed, a session you can’t miss!
Programme
14h00 Opening & Welcome
By Steven Schoefs, Fleet Europe
14h05 Where and when to start your rightfuelling strategy
In this session we will demonstrate the importance of transitioning your fleet to new energies. We will look at the criteria to consider when doing the green fleet exercise: taxation, regulation and incentives; infrastructure and fleet customer appetite to go EV. We will also detail the readiness of the main European countries regarding energy transition and fleet electrification.

14h20 The cost of rightfuelling
The cost efficiency of a fleet is paramount. And that does not change with rightfuelling or with electrifying your fleet. Although many countries are promoting electric mobility, there are important country differences and there are as series of parameters, often linked to driver profiling and infrastructure, that can profoundly change and determine the TCO of ICE compared to EV. In this session we will show how you can ensure a correct driver profiling and we will bring insight into the cost factors of EV versus ICE demonstrating where and how new powertrains can be beneficial for your corporate wallet.

14h30 Networking & Meet the IFMI partners

14h45 Eyes wide open for the right vehicle
The model mix of electric and electrified vehicles is permanently increasing, but also the performance of ICE vehicles is continuously improving. What are the technical evolutions, what is to know about the delivery expectations and is hybrid more than an intermediate solution? In this session you will get to understand the bigger picture to take the right vehicle and powertrain decision.
By Pawel Zin and Daniel Schessler, SEAT

15h00 Rightfuelling in action
Having a roadmap for your rightfuelling vision is great, but it’s nothing without the implementation and execution. In this session we will explain the success factors for implementation, roll-out and monitoring of a green fleet programme with attention for stakeholder engagement, car policy, fuel and energy management and follow-up.
