Through avant-garde technology, DS 7 CROSSBACK E-TENSE 4x4 is the first premium compact SUV to offer a performance hybrid capable of covering 50 kilometres (WLTP cycle) just by using electrical energy drawn from a 13.2kWh battery and energy recovered during deceleration and braking. With its 200 horsepower petrol engine and two electric motors, DS 7 CROSSBACK E-TENSE 4x4 has a total power output of 300 horsepower and 450Nm of torque with four-wheel drive. DS 7 CROSSBACK E-TENSE 4x4 stands apart with its drive modes. The “ELECTRIC” mode lets you drive on battery power, with no CO2 emissions for 58 kilometres (WLTP cycle) at up to 135km/h. The function “E-SAVE” allows the driver to recharge his battery at any time thanks to the internal combustion engine and therefore enables sufficient energy to be saved to drive in "ELECTRIC" mode for a chosen part of the journey. The result of expertise acquired in Formula E, DS 7 CROSSBACK E-TENSE 4x4 can extend its range by regenerating energy during deceleration and braking through the “BRAKE” function.
